Raising Aspirations

In conjunction with our partners the goal is to develop innovative ways of encouraging young people and adults to stay on or to re-enter learning and move into Higher Education, by increasing motivation, building confidence and raising attainment.


Target Range

The target age range is 13-30 year olds who have the potential to study at Higher Education level. These potential students are being identified through partners in a variety of ways, including:


  • Little or no family history of higher education
  • Low socio economic status, indices of deprivation
  • Low GCSE scores
  • Ethnicity
  • Disability
