Privacy Statement and Web Users Policy
Aimhigher Surrey is committed to protecting your privacy. We will not share your personal information, including email addresses, with any other organisations without your prior consent. To comply with UK Data Protection legislation we follow procedures in the storage and disclosure of information that you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access.
What information do we collect?
We collect basic information, including your name, email address and/or, telephone number and post code so that we can reply to your enquiry.
We may also ask some other questions so we can gain a clearer understanding of our users to enable us to personalise services to you, if you have specifically requested contact by email or telephone. This helps us to continually improve the service we offer. If you do not wish to receive any further contact from us email us at k.lucey@surrey.ac.uk.
Log files/IP addresses
We collect data which lists which of our pages are most frequently visited and by which types of users. When you visit our site, we may log your IP address (the unique address which identifies your computer on the internet), which is automatically recognised by our web server. We use IP addresses to help us administer the site and to collect broad demographic information. We do not link IP addresses to personally identifiable information.
Non-personal information
We may automatically collect some information about you, such as the type of internet browsers you use or the site from which you visited our site. You cannot be identified from this information and it is only used to assist us in providing an effective service on our site. We do not create cookies on your computer.

Links are provided to third party websites for the convenience of users. However, Aimhigher cannot be responsible for the privacy policies or practices of other sites if you access them from our site, so we recommend that you check the policy of each linked site that you visit. Please note that we cannot control the content or availability of external links.
Data Access
You have the right to see what data we hold about you. Enquiries should be sent to k.lucey@surrey.ac.uk or by writing to Aimhigher Surrey, c/o Educational Liaison Office, University of Surrey, Guildford, Surrey GU2 7XH. We will provide you with a copy of the data we hold about you. If you need us to delete, correct or amend this data we will do so within 30 days.
