Summer Schools


Higher Education Summer Schools are designed to give students the opportunity to experience University life first hand. The scheme is aimed at students in Years 10,11 and 12. The Aimhigher South East Summer Schools are fully funded so there is no expense to those participating. Nationally there are about fifty summer schools running in England during the summer. Across the South East there are approximately 1,300 places.

Who Can Attend?

The Summer Schools are aimed at students whose family has no experience of higher education and who may be considering higher education as an option. Applications are welcomed from students who the school or college judge to have the ability to go on to University.
